Legal information

Privacy policy

At UtiliTools Pro, we value our users’ privacy. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the site, how user accounts work, which external services we use, and how cookies or similar technologies may be used.

Information we may collect

When you visit UtiliTools Pro, we may process basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, access date and time, and other data needed for security, operation, measurement, and service improvement.

User accounts

If you choose to create an account, we may process data such as your email address, display name, and account preferences. Authentication and account-related storage are managed through Supabase.

Account features may let you save favorites and tool history. You can turn off saving new visits in your account and delete your history or favorites when those options are available.

Files and processed content

Many UtiliTools Pro tools are designed to process images, documents, text or data directly in the user's browser. When a tool indicates that the processing is local, the file remains on the device during that operation.

We recommend avoiding unnecessary processing of highly sensitive information and keeping a copy of your original files before editing them.

Cookies and local storage

UtiliTools Pro and the services we use can use cookies, local storage or other similar technologies to keep sessions, remember preferences, protect the site, measure its use and, where appropriate, display advertising.

Advertising and Google AdSense

UtiliTools Pro may use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to UtiliTools Pro or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on users' visits to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Depending on the applicable settings, these ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Personalized advertising and user choices

Users can manage or opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings.

When other third-party vendors or ad networks participate in serving ads, their own cookies or technologies may also be used in accordance with their policies. Users can review the options available from those providers and, in some cases, manage the use of cookies for personalized advertising through aboutads.info.

Consent for users in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland

Where applicable, we will request the consent choices required for the use of cookies or other local storage technologies and for the collection, use or sharing of data related to ad personalization.

If personalized ads are served to users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom or Switzerland through Google publisher products, a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) will be used, in accordance with Google's requirements applicable to those regions.

The consent mechanism shown will allow the user to review or change their preferences when that functionality is available.

Third-party advertising providers and networks

In addition to Google, certain authorized advertising providers or networks may participate in the delivery or measurement of ads. Where applicable, these third parties may set or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or other technologies necessary for the delivery and measurement of advertising.

The availability of providers may vary depending on advertising settings, region and the user's consent choices. You can find additional information about Google's use of data on partner sites and apps at Google's privacy information for partner sites.

Third-party services

We may use external providers to deliver and protect the service. These may include Cloudflare for infrastructure and security, Supabase for authentication and account data, and Google for advertising services. Each provider may process information according to its own policies and obligations.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the site and information associated with its services. However, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

Your options

You can use many tools without creating an account. If you have an account, you can manage certain preferences from the My Account section. You can also manage your advertising consent preferences when the corresponding mechanism is displayed.

Changes to this policy

This policy can be updated to reflect changes to the site, its suppliers or legal requirements. The current version will always be published on this page.
